August 10th, 2010When I travel on business for Vector Marketing, I’m nice and I smile to everyone I encounter. I thank the TSA guy. I ask the ticket agent how her day is going. These people deal with irate, cranky, frustrated people all day long, and mine may be the only kind word they hear all day. When faced with someone who is unkind or unhelpful, I respond with extreme kindness and understanding. I remember that it can’t possibly be personal, because these people don’t even know me. I make it my goal to put a smile on the face of everyone I interact with. The results are nothing short of miraculous.

August 2nd, 2010So our basement flooded a few weeks ago….and that got me thinking that cheapest is NOT always best. Sometimes, it is definitely worth the investment to get a solid, great quality product that will make it through life’s curveballs!

July 26th, 2010Earning my own money has made me appreciate every dollar, (despite what my parents think) which will certainly come in handy when I’m on a budget at school. Not only that, but I’ve developed a stronger work ethic and time management skills, which can only help me when I find myself juggling freedom, new friends, classes and extracurriculars in a few weeks.
