Sales Rep - Part Time - Flexible Work

Vector Marketing is running immediate interviews for part time sales positions. Basic responsibilities include selling our Cutco products through one-on-one presentations. We offer base pay that is not based on sales, so reps don’t feel a pressure to make a sale and instead focusing on providing excellent customer service. There is a commission structure based on performance – not length of service, that increases based on career sales (not yearly sales). Reps are paid weekly – either base or commission, whichever is higher that week. Even if they have an off week, they will still get paid for the qualified appointments they completed regardless of sales. We believe the quality of the product speaks for itself.

We sell Cutco products that are used in the home focusing on the kitchen and some gardening tools as well. Previous work experience or knowledge of home goods is not required. We provide all the training needed for success.

Position Details:
Paid Weekly – We offer guaranteed base pay that is not tied to sales, allowing reps to focus on providing excellent customer service rather than feeling pressured to make a sale. We also offer a performance-based commission structure that increases based on career sales performance — not length of service or annual resets. Representatives are paid a base ($30.00 base-appt) or commission, whichever is higher that week. Even during slower weeks, reps are still paid for every qualified appointment they complete, regardless of sales results.

Flexible Work – Reps set their own schedule based on what works best for them. Some work around school, others around internships or their full time job, and some around family obligations. Seasonal work is available for those looking to earn some extra income for the holidays.

Location – Sales reps work locally after training. Meetings and training are held in the office.

Solid Training – Our company has been around for over 40 years, we provide the training needed for success. Room for advancement (even for part timers).

Resume Experience – Even if someone doesn’t stay with us long term the sales, networking, and communication skills they build are needed for any field.

Advancement - Sales reps who work here long term have an opportunity move along several different paths including management and career sales professional (even if they start part time with no experience).

- Willing to learn and apply new skills

People who have done well with us in the past have had experience in retail, work from home jobs, fast food, as a cashier, administrative assistant, customer service, receptionist, grocery clerk, server, and in just about any job you can think of. Some didn’t have any traditional work experience at all, but they excelled in activities like theater, sports, or band.
